Mount Wellington Mine 

This was taken on 30th May 2012 during our celebration of over 5 years since our first tenant, Kensa, moved to the site. After a long search, we found the original Headgear Wheels and mounted them on a special steel frame at the entrance.

This is one of the few aerial photos that we have. The mine is completed - and yet the car park is empty. Almost certainly, there was a labour strike when this picture was taken??

David Cameron inspected all the businesses on site, but took particular interest in Kensa's heat pump manufacturing. Kensa is the sole UK manufacturer of a full range of ground source heat pumps.
